Troopers said Snigar was driving a black 2003 BMW 325 when he veered off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole on Ohio 123 near the mile post 26. Snigar, the only occupant, was taken to Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, where he later died, according to the highway patrol.
The crash is still under investigation, but speed or impairment do not appear to be a factor, according to troopers.
