Police: Driver failed to yield in crash near Hamilton school that sent motorcycle rider to hospital

A 16-year-old driver of a small sports utility vehicle failed to yield while turning left from West Elkton Road onto Northwest Washington Boulevard on Monday before a crash that sent a motorcyclist to the hospital.

According to the crash report, the Hamilton teen was driving a Toyota Rav4 northbound on West Elkton and turned left into the path of the motorcycle ridden by Anthony Hensley, 25, of Hamilton.

“No citation was issued due to ongoing investigation,” according to the Hamilton police report.

Hensley was transported to Fort Hamilton Hospital after the Monday afternoon wreck. A hospital spokeswoman said Wednesday evening that nobody by that name was at the hospital.
