A longtime Warren County waterpark is for sale.
The Beach at Adventure Landing is listed on Anchor Associates’ retail real estate site.
The listing for the nearly 35-acre park at 2590 Waterpark Drive in Mason was posted at the end of the park’s season, according to realtor Amy Holter. There is no sales price included in the new listing.
Located just off Interstate 71 and Kings Mills Road, the waterpark opened in 1985 but shut down for the 2012 season. It reopened in 2013 following its sale for $3 million to National Retail Properties, an affiliate of Jacksonville, Fla.-based Adventure Holdings LLC.
The waterpark features 22 water slides, live palm trees, sand, a wave pool and more.
Adventure Holdings invested $6.5 million into the park for renovations to the “common areas, slides and play areas,” and for added attractions like kiddie area Big Creek Beach and an arcade, according to the Beach Waterpark’s website.
Listed among its highlights on a sales brochure are the benefits of its location::
• At I-71 and Kings Mills Road
• In Warren County, “the 2nd fastest growing county in Ohio.”
• In Mason, which is home to more than 150 corporations
• In the immediate area of Kings Island, Great Wolf Lodge and Lindner Family Tennis Center, home of the Western & Southern Open.
