Four projects in Southwest Ohio are expected to generate a total of more than 1,400 new jobs and retain hundreds more as a result of the approval of assistance by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority.
The Tax Credit Authority approved a 1.35 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for Deceuninck North America in Monroe, which expects to create 85 full-time positions and retain 480 jobs, generating $4.5 million in new annual payroll and retaining $22.5 million in existing payroll as a result of an expansion project.
Capital investment on that project is listed at $2 million, according to Regional Economic Development Initiative (REDI) Cincinnati.
Deceuninck North America produces energy-efficient vinyl window and door systems, and composite applications for the building and construction industry.
Company officials said REDI Cincinnati was instrumental in coordinating the assistance.
“As Deceuninck North America bolsters our workforce and manufacturing capabilities, we are grateful to the state of Ohio and REDI Cincinnati for their support,” said Filip Geeraert, the company’s president and CEO. “Our employees are the backbone of our success and the source of the company’s restless spirit of innovation.”
London Computer Systems
London Computer Systems in Deerfield Twp. was approved a 1.537 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for an expansion project. The company expects to create 150 full-time positions and retain 177 jobs, generating $9 million in new annual payroll and retaining $10.5 million in existing payroll as a result of expansion project, which REDI Cincinnati said represents a $27 million capital investment
Incorporated in 1987, London Computer Systems is a developer of business-critical software and technologies used in all 50 states and several markets throughout the world.
LISNR Inc. in Cincinnati was approved Monday by the Tax Credit Authority for a 1.7 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit.
The Hamilton County company, which provides device connectivity using inaudible sound to transmit information, expects to create 80 full-time positions, generating $5.6 million in new annual payroll and retaining $3 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s redevelopment project in Cincinnati.
Ensemble Health Partners
The Tax Credit Authority also approved a 2.31 percent, 15-year Job Creation Tax Credit for Ensemble Health Partners LLC, which expects to create 1,100 full-time positions, generating $47.3 million in new annual payroll and retaining $26.2 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s acquisition project in a to-be-determined location.
Headquartered in Huntersville, N.C., Ensemble HP provides revenue consulting and solutions to hospitals and health systems.
Ensemble established a satellite office in Deerfield Twp. in 2016 and will continue its growth there, according to company officials. The location of the new 300,000-square-foot facility someplace in Greater Cincinnati is yet to be determined and is “contingent upon the approval of state and local incentives,” officials said.
