Cincinnati police investigating homicide of recent ‘critical missing’ man

Police are investigating a homicide after a 36-year-old man who was found dead.

Chase Daniel Singer, who was recently reported as “critical missing”, was found Jan. 25 around 11 a.m. in the 1800 block of Forbus Street, according to the Cincinnati Police Department.

His death was ruled a homicide by the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office, and the investigation is on-going.

According to police, his aunt reported him missing after she didn’t see or hear from him for about three weeks.

A neighbor also reported that Singer left his therapeutic pet dog, who he usually never leaves, without food or water, according to our partners at WCPO.

Singer, who was originally missing from the Westwood area, had a brain injury from a childhood incident.
