StarTek holding online career fair for 100 new jobs

StarTek Hamilton is negotiating with a major cellphone carrier to add an additional 100 customer service representatives.

“Hiring would begin next month and would peak at the end of the spring in order to fulfill our client’s needs,” said Greg Austin, the company’s recruiting manager. “We are currently at about 300 employees today and with this new line of business would be at 400 or higher.”

To fulfill current hiring needs and prepare for this new client, the company is holding two hiring events in the next week.

An Online Career Fair is scheduled for Facebook from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. Company officials will message with candidates to set up interview. The company also is scheduled to hold open interviews from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. next Tuesday at its Engagement Center, 150 High St., third floor, Hamilton.
