Middletown police have interviewed a man who was dumped behind a closed Middletown restaurant, said Maj. Scott Reeve.

He said Robert Childers, 45, is expected to make a full recovery after he allegedly overdosed, then was dumped Saturday afternoon.

At 2:05 p.m. Saturday, police were called to a former restaurant at 2009 S. Main St. on a report that two bodies had been “dumped,” Reeve said.

Destiny Williams, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene, Reeve said. Childers was unresponsive and was “barely breathing,” Reeve said.

An autopsy on Williams is scheduled to be performed today at the Butler County Coroner’s Office, according to police.

Police are investigating what happened to Childers and Williams and how they ended up at that location, Reeve said, adding that it appeared their bodies were moved.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Kristi Hughes at 513-425-7733.
