Middletown police are looking for someone who “dumped” two bodies behind a vacant building near Main Street and Lafayette Avenue.

Police were called to the scene Saturday morning after two bodies were found, said Maj. Scott Reeve. He said a white female, believed to be in her 20s, was pronounced dead, possibly from a drug overdose. Police have not released her name because her family in Middletown hasn’t been located, he said.

Reeve said an autopsy will be performed Monday at the Butler County Coroner’s Office.

An unconscious man was transported to Atrium Medical Center and Reeve said police hope he’s able to tell them “what happened.”

Reeve said the man remains unconscious.

Reeve said police believe the man and woman overdosed, then their bodies were transported and dumped.

Anyone with information is asked to call Reeve at 513-425-7746.
