A member of the hospital staff told police that when the chapel, prayer and meditation room had last been checked on Nov. 21, all items were present.

On Nov. 30, however, three items were missing — a Koran, a compass and a prayer rug.

There are no suspects.

The items were replaced at a cost of approximately $75, according to a police report.
