Popular longtime Butler County restaurant closes

A longtime Butler County restaurant has closed its doors.

The outgoing voice mail message at UNO Chicago Bar & Grill, 9246 Schulze Dr. in West Chester Twp., tells callers “the restaurant is permanently closed. Sorry for this disappointing news.”

Its Facebook page has been deleted.

Located just west of Union Centre Boulevard’s Interstate 75 exit, the restaurant sits on a nearly 1.9 acre property that was sold for $1.25 million in August by OWC Real Estate LLC to Schulze Drive Lodging Partners LLP, according to the Butler County Auditor’s Office.

The limited liability partnership is registered via the Ohio Secretary of State’s Office to Subhas Patel, with the same mailing address used by Patel’s Keystone Hotel Group a Symmes Twp. hotel investment, development and management firm.

Todd and Becky Wilber, of CTI Restaurants & OWC, purchased the West Chester Uno in 2006. They purchased the Anderson Twp. location shortly thereafter, and it closed in 2015.
