Fairfield Twp. police and fire, and Hamilton city fire officials began searching Rentschler Forest Sunday afternoon after a fisherman reported seeing a body in the river near the Liberty Fairfield bridge.
The river level is high due to the recent rain in the area, and is running swiftly.
No body was located when crews called the search off just after 6 p.m.
