A 48-year-old woman was struck by a car while she was walking on Kennesaw Drive in West Chester Twp. Tuesday night.
The woman was walking with two other women on Kennesaw just north of Tylersville Road at around 9:30 p.m., according to township spokeswoman Barb Wilson.

The woman was transported to West Chester Hospital with what was considered a serious, but not life threatening, head injury. Wilson said her condition is unknown at this time.
The driver stopped at the scene and Wilson said the incident is still under investigation. No charges have been filed.
