Student struck outside Hamilton High School, transported to hospital

A male student was struck outside Hamilton High School this morning, but injuries are not believed to be serious, according to emergency dispatches.

The male was hit by a car at around 8 a.m. at Eaton Avenue and NW Washington Boulevard, according to Butler County dispatchers.

The driver that hit the person stayed on the scene following the accident.

A crew was called to evaluate the student, and he was transported to a local hospital, according to a Hamilton schools spokesperson.
