The Butler County OVI Task Force will be conducting an OVI checkpoint tonight.

The sobriety checkpoint will be conducted from 11 p.m. to no later than 3 a.m. at 4400 Dixie Highway in Fairfield, just north of Symmes Road.

The checkpoints, along with saturation patrols, are the OVI Task Force’s continuing effort to reduce OVI related crashes resulting in injuries and fatalities.

Ohio law requires law enforcement to announce checkpoint times and locations ahead of time.
