OVI checkpoint Friday in Butler County. Here’s how many OVI arrests were made earlier this month

There were 219 vehicles that passed through a Butler County OVI checkpoint earlier this month, but no arrests, according to Pete Reising, coordinator of the Butler County OVI Task Force.

The OVI checkpoint took place from 10 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. April 6 in the 500 block of South Locust Street in Oxford.

Two vehicles were diverted for further investigation, Reising said, but no OVI charges nor any other citations were issued at the checkpoint.

The Butler County OVI Task Force will conduct another checkpoint on Friday, April 20. The time and location of the checkpoint will be released that day.
