Tim Tebow's commercial

Isn't it amazing how the women's groups in our country have come out already and complained about the fact that Tim Tebow is going to do a commercial during the Super Bowl that's — I guess, in their opinion — in favor of pro-life? I find it interesting that these women are all upset that somebody is going to have the ability of free speech to say that they favor pro-life and have their reasons for it. ...

Regarding the city seeking road repair funds: I hope they get it. I noticed that they said it was rejected last year. This was not the fault of the state or federal governments. The reason why it failed was because the city of Hamilton filed late. I hope they get it together and file early this time. We sure need to fix streets like Eaton Road. It is a mess for all those people who go up and down Eaton. We need sidewalks for the kids. Please, city manager, traffic engineer and City Council. Please try to get some of that stimulus money for Eaton Road. If you haven't been up and down it lately, the potholes are six inches deep.

Why is the city of Fairfield raising their water, sewer and trash collection rates in January? If the city is in such great financial shape, why would this be necessary? In this deep recession, even a small amount hurts people. They are ignoring the unemployed. Don't they realize that there is almost 11 percent unemployment? They are ignoring senior citizens and others. I hope the Hamilton JournalNews will consider interviewing the council and asking questions.

Where were these Tea Partiers when (President George) Bush took a $200 billion surplus and turned it into a $400 billion deficit? ...
