3 new Butler County dining options offer chicken, fish, Mexican cuisine

Locally owned and operated Crispy Fish & Chicken recently opened a new location at 4 East State St. in Trenton

This is the second location for the restaurant in Butler County. The first opened in May at 1304 Breiel Blvd. in Middletown, the former site of Long John Silver’s, which abruptly closed in March.

The restaurant, which made its debut Dec. 31, is owned by brothers Ali Murad and Hamza Murad.

“We first opened in May (in Middletown) and got a good response from the community so we decided to buy the old Domino’s in Trenton,” Ali Murad said. “We are hoping to create more locations in the future.”

Crispy Fish & Chicken serves fish, chicken, gyros, shrimp, squid, clams, butterfly shrimp, crab cake patties, burgers, Philly steak sides, desserts and more.

“Since we are pretty new we are still hoping to expand menu choices,” Ali Murad said.

The restaurants recently added half-off seniors days on Sundays and Wednesdays, he said.

Crispy Fish & Chicken also offers pickup-only service inside Corner Markets at 1308 Yankee Road and 2126 Hill Ave. in Middletown. The restaurant's Facebook page is www.facebook.com/crispyfishandchicken.

Chipotle Mexican Grill

Chipotle Mexican Grill opened a new location at 7903 Crossings of Beckett in West Chester Twp. in recent weeks. The restaurant features a “Chipotlane,” a modernized drive-thru lane aimed at increasing convenience for customers and delivery drivers alike, plus walk-up windows and premium placement for digital built in pick-up portals.

Open views and front row seating provide direct lines of sight into the kitchen, where crew members hand prepare food. Additionally, bottled beverages are more accessible with a customer-facing reach in cooler built into the serving line.

Hours are 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

No grand opening celebration is planned at the present, but through Monday, for the 2019-2020 National Championship Game, Chipotle is offering free delivery on all digital orders of $10 or more — no code necessary — through the Chipotle mobile app at Apple or Google Play. A free delivery deal for Chipotle Lifestyle Bowls last through the end of the month.
