Kaylie Jackson, 17, was a back-seat passenger at the time of the accident, police said.
She was a patient at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
“We ask that you continue to keep the families impacted by this tragic accident in your thoughts and prayers,” Superintendent Phil Cagwin said in a statement. “We will continue to do all we can to support our students through this difficult time.”

He said the district’s counselors and school psychologists are available to meet with any student who needs to talk about the accident that occurred around 7:30 p.m. Friday on Millikin Road. He said counselors would be available today in the Media Center and the rest of the week, if necessary.
Cagwin said neighboring school districts offered to send some of their counselors to Monroe in the wake of the accident, but those counselors weren’t needed.
On Sunday night, Cagwin said three of the four students had been released from the hospital. One students remains at University of Cincinnati Medical Center, he said.
Cagwin said a School Resource Officer called him Friday night to alert him to the accident. Cagwin and his wife were about to drive to the prom, he said. Instead, they drove to the hospital.
“No one wants to hear of an accident on prom night; you never expect it to be your school,” he said. “So everyone was very concerned.”
Monroe staff also was sent to meet with students at the prom, and some students, friends of those injured, were allowed to leave and go to the hospital, he said. The parents of students who left were alerted by the district, Cagwin said.
The mood at the prom was “very somber,” he said.
“There was a lot of discussion in the small groups,” he said.
He said the district has received “a great outpouring of support.”
