The student has been in the Juvenile Detention Center since Nov. 6, the day he allegedly beat up a fellow student in the hall.

He will be sentenced on Dec. 15.

Judge Craft released the student to his parents, but told him to stay away from school until his expulsion hearing is complete.

His parents, who attended the pre-trial hearing, said they were “pleased” their son was coming home. They were upset that he had missed Thanksgiving at home, they said.
