Tinch, 37, failed to respond to the Board of Professional Conduct certified in June. Those allegations include misappropriating fees and funds, failure to properly communicate with clients, failing to show up at court proceedings, filing court documents in the wrong county, and erratic behavior in a courtroom.

The allegations also included a conviction in Franklin Municipal Court to a reduced charge of misdemeanor burglary in September 2017, according to court records.
Tinch was also indicted on a felony charge of forgery and two misdemeanor counts of petty theft in Montgomery County in 2017 stemming from misappropriating attorney’s fees. He pleaded guilty to one count of felony forgery and one count of misdemeanor petty theft. He was placed in an intervention program in lieu of conviction.
Tinch received an interim remedial suspension from the practice of law in September 2017 and remains suspended because he did not participate in the process, said Allan Asbury, staff attorney for the Board of Professional Conduct.
Asbury said the allegations against Tinch have not been proven. He also said an attorney could decide whether to participate in the process, or not, and that could lead to an indefinite suspension or other sanctions.
While Tinch is under suspension, he cannot represent clients and has to turn in his attorney registration.
