Volunteers at The Arena Sports Bar in Trotwood have been handing out food and and other supplies from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. since the day after 14 tornadoes hit the Dayton area. Video by Amelia Robinson

About 40 members of the Miami University football team and coaching staff are helping tornado victims today in Beavercreek.

A Dayton native and Miami player suggested the players and staff should assist in the tornado clean-up.

They connected with a tree removal service and they’re expected to help until 4 p.m. today, according to the university.
