Magistrate Christopher Atkins sentenced Sisco to 90 days in jail, but gave him a stay to serve that sentence. Sisco did not return to court today and a bench warrant for his arrest has been issued.

Sisco was also ordered to pay court costs of $208 to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office and $558 to Animal Friends Humane Society.
Sisco had admitted that he punished Duece, a pit bull, for defecating in the cage it was confined in, according to Butler County Dog Warden Supervisor Kurt Merbs.
A humane officer was called to Seldon Avenue on June 30 on a report of a dog being beaten with a baseball bat. A neighbor caught the alleged abuse on video and sent it to authorities, Merbs said.

There were seven other dogs on the property, all pit bull mixes, that were removed for safe keeping, authorities said.
In the video, Sisco hit the dog with a Louisville Slugger wooden bat. The dog is on its side. Duece did get up to try to get away from the abuse after Sisco walked away, Merbs said.
