Sgt. Sam Allen said no foul play is suspected and officers believe they know the identity of the person but are waiting on an autopsy from the coroner for a positive ID and cause of death.
“We believe it may have been a medical issue,” Allen said. A 911 caller reported a dog running loose and the body in the canal.
