Tellers at Lebanon Citizens National Bank, 101 Clarence F. Warner Drive, told dispatchers that a man displayed a note demanding money but did not display a weapon.
The suspect fled the immediate area with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
A Middletown police canine officer was requested to respond.

Two men have been taken into custody by police after a bank robbery this morning in Monroe.
One man was located near the LCNB bank on Ohio 63. Another man was taken into custody at the nearby Motel 6.

Detectives are investigating at a Monroe bank that was robbed this morning.
The parking lot has been blocked off, and the LCNB bank on Ohio 63 is closed.
A Middletown police officer and his canine are searching the businesses near the bank, including the Joe Morgan Honda car dealership and Motel 6.
There is a large police presence in the area.

FIRST REPORT:
Several law enforcement agencies are responding to a Monroe bank on a report of robbery that occurred about 10:45 a.m.
The LCNB bank on Ohio 63 was allegedly robbed by a man who “counted down” as though he had a bomb, according to dispatchers.
The man did not display a weapon and ran toward the Speedway gas station on Ohio 63 when he left the bank, according to dispatchers.
The suspect is described as a white man, 5 foot 3, with a shaved head and wearing a black jacket with white lettering.
We have sent a crew to the scene. This report will be updated when more information becomes available.
