Your input is needed on future roundabout at Wayne Madison and Trenton roads

The Butler County Engineer’s Office will hold a public involvement meeting to provide information and to solicit public input concerning a proposed intersection improvement at Wayne Madison Road and Trenton Road on the border of St. Clair and Madison townships and the city of Trenton.

Proposed improvements include converting the existing intersection to a roundabout intersection with pedestrian walkways.

The purpose of the project is to reduce the amount and severity of traffic accidents at the intersection, according to the Butler County Engineer’s Office. The project is tentatively scheduled for construction in 2021.

The public meeting will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Edgewood Elementary School, 3440 Busenbark Road, Trenton.

The meeting will be open house style with information stations and displays about the project, according to the engineer’s office. Representatives from the engineer’s office and the Ohio Department of Transportation as well as local government officials will be available to answer questions and hear ideas.
