A teenage girl in West Chester Twp. was accidentally shot Friday evening and remains hospitalized, according to preliminary police reports.
The 15-year-old teen apparently shot herself accidentally in a home in West Chester, said Barb Wilson, spokeswoman for the township.
The teen was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, Wilson said.
The shooting took place at approximately 8 p.m. in a home on Thornwood Court. The victim was transported to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center by ambulance.
The incident remains under investigation.
