Train hits, kills one in Hamilton

One person is dead after being hit by a train in the area of Allen Avenue and Zimmerman Avenue, according to Butler County Dispatch records.

Dispatchers said that they received a call from train employees at 3:52 a.m. reporting a male was hit by the train.

Police responded to the scene and called for a coroner to the scene.

It is unclear why the man was on the train tracks.
