Police took a report of the theft of an enclosed trailer holding building supplies for Habitat for Humanity of Cincinnati, according to Oxford police.

An employee of the organization said the trailer had been at a job site when workers left on May 25, the last time the trailer was seen.

It was discovered missing when they returned to the site June 11.

The officer was told the trailer had multiple locks on it, including one on the wheel and a couple on the doors. The employee was the only person with keys to the locks and confirmed with her employer no one had been told to retrieve the trailer, which was described as six feet wide, six feet high and 13 feet long. The rear door folds down and there is a right-side door. It is green in color.

Construction items such as nails, screws and other items were inside. Value was estimated at $4,000.

The license plate number on the trailer is TQV2989. It was entered into the LEADS computer system as stolen.
