Oxford has five openings on its boards and commissions and is seeking applications from interested residents to fill them.

There are a number of boards and commissions which assist with various functions of municipal government. Members are volunteers from the community who serve for three to five year periods, depending on the specific board.

Vacancies coming open June 30 are:

  • A three-year term on the Board of Zoning Appeals
  • A three-year term on the Civil Rights Commission
  • A three year term on the Civil Service Commission
  • A four-year term on the Housing Advisory Commission
  • A five-year term on the Planning Commission
