Lounge 24, a new business at 24 S. Second St. in Hamilton, offers local craft beer, Ohio wines and cocktails, as well as a fruit and cheese tray.
A piano player will entertain on the weekends at Lounge 24, which is part of Hamilton’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area, or DORA.
Emily Lawrence, the establishment’s marketing director, said Lounge 24 is “a comfortable lounge with a beautiful view of the city.”
Lounge 24 is owned by Ramona Lisa Abner of Liberty Twp., who also owns Mona Lisa’s Permanent Makeup & Training Center, which has been in business for 18 years but only recently moved to Hamilton in a small area on the left side of Lounge 24’s building.
Renting all those years and falling in love with 24 South Second, Abner said she decided it was “time for a move,” Lawrence said.
“I have been doing permanent makeup for 21 years and teaching the art for 10 years,” she said. “Students fly in from everywhere and stay here at our courtyard Marriott. I have lived here in Butler County all my life and my family and I have always been in the entertainment, bar (and) restaurant industry.”
Hours are 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday to Sunday, but more hours and days may be added, Abner said.
