A 29-year-old Mexican national who apparently made the Dayton region a regular stop whenever he was in the states is on his way to prison for repeatedly reentering the United States illegally, David DeVillers, U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Ohio, said Thursday.

Julian Patino-Espinoza was sentenced Thursday in U.S. District Judge Walter H. Rice’s courtroom to three years on the illegally reentry conviction and for violating supervised release from his prior federal illegal reentry conviction.
This marks his third illegal reentry conviction. Two of those have occurred in the Dayton region.
