Hamilton’s new Chipotle progressing, targeting August opening

Construction crews have started working to create a new Chipotle Mexican Grill on Main Street in Hamilton.

A construction foreman with Webb’s Excavating who was operating a compactor on the site Tuesday said his company started working Monday on the property, which is next to the Bob Evans restaurant that is located at 1461 Main St. and in front of the AMC Classic Hamilton 8 theater.

Before that, blacktop was removed from the area last week, said the foreman.

Chipotle spokesperson Erin Wolford told the Journal-News, “We are currently scheduled to open a location in Hamilton at some point in late August.”
