Chappelle, who lives just outside of Yellow Springs, was nominated in the Best Comedy Album category for his “The Age Of Spin” and “Deep In The Heart Of Texas.” Gustafer Yellowgold creator and Kettering native Morgan Taylor is nominated in the Best Children’s Album category for his “Brighter Side.”

Some of the awards will be revealed prior to the television broadcast, which is from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Awards in approximately 70 categories (including comedy and children's album) will be handed out at the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards Pre-Telecast Ceremony, you can watch the entire ceremony at GRAMMY.com/live starting at 4 p.m. ET.

Chappelle will square off against Jim Gaffigan's "Cinco," Jerry Seinfeld's "Jerry Before Seinfeld," Kevin Hart's "What Now?" and Sarah Silverman's "A Speck of Dust."

Taylor is up against Lisa Loeb, Justin Roberts, Alphabet Rockers and Ladysmith Black Mambazo are nominated in that category as well.

Chappelle won an Emmy in 2017 for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his role hosting "Saturday Night Live" just after Donald Trump's election. He received Emmy nominations in 2004 and 2005.
This is Taylor's second Grammy nomination. Taylor's Gustafer Yellowgold character, a friendly yellow creature who came from the sun and now resides in Minnesota, was nominated for the 2016 Grammy for Best Children's Album.
