UPDATE: Crews put out window sill fire at Hamilton apartment building after large callout

Crews could smell smoke when they arrived in the 50 block of south D street, and they found one of the windows hot to the touch. They discovered the smoldering window sill in the basement and put it out with no issues.

There were no injuries.

Several Hamilton fire crews have responded to a report of a structure fire at a building in Hamilton.

The dispatch came at about 1:30 p.m. today to the 50 block of south D street in Hamilton.
