A history of giving back

The Ross Twp. location on Hamilton Cleves Road has been around for 21 years, involving itself in the community with in-kind and monetary donations to local churches, schools, football teams, and other organizations.

“We’ve tried to be a good community partner for the 21 years we’ve been in business, and the people of Ross have shown us great support in return,” said Sam Harsh, general manager of Gold Star’s Ross location. “This is just one more way we can show our appreciation for the community who joins us for a meal every day.”

Investing in the future

Gold Star has more than 75 corporate- and franchise-owned locations throughout Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Its grand re-opening in Ross Twp. is one of many store openings and remodels planned for 2019. In the coming months, the organization plans to remodel or complete new buildings in Mt. Carmel, Springdale and Burlington, Kentucky.

The upcoming store openings and remodels are the latest in a series of investments Gold Star has made in its restaurants in the last two years, including four remodels and one new restaurant builds in 2019, updated branding, and a new advertising campaign that differentiates the brand from other chili parlors in the region.

Gold Star is seeking owners for new franchise opportunities in Greater Cincinnati, with additional opportunities in Dayton and Lexington. For more information, click here.
