Apple expected to unveil new iPhone during event today

Apple is expected to unveil its new iPhone or iPhones today and the estimated cost for at least one of the models is an eye-popping $1,000.

The redesigned iPhone will be announced at the first product event Apple is holding at its new spaceship-like headquarters in Cupertino, California, the Associated Press reports.

Apple hasn't confirmed what the specifics of the phone will be.

The Apple Keynote will be held at 1 p.m.
