Air Force Museum Foundation picks chief development officer

The Air Force Museum Foundation has named Chris Adkins-Lamb its new chief development officer.

Adkins-Lamb, who was the director of major gifts at the College of Science and Mathematics at Wright State University, was chosen after an “exhaustive national search,” Foundation Director Michael Imhoff said in a statement.

Adkins-Lamb will work with the development team, board of trustees, staff, members and volunteers to raise money, the foundation said in a statement.

The organization raises money to help support the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. The foundation was key to privately raising $40.8 million for a 224,000-square-foot hangar expansion at the museum in June 2016.
