A Franklin Junior High School student was taken from school Thursday and arrested after school officials alleged he made a verbal bomb threat during an argument with a teacher.

Mike Sanders, superintendent of Franklin City Schools, said classes were not interrupted and no school lockdown was involved.

Franklin police were called by officials to the Warren County school, and the teen was arrested.

Police said he was charged with “delinquency by way of menacing” and was taken to the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center in Lebanon.

He is expected to be arraigned Friday in Warren County Juvenile Court.
