“Vendors include banking, investments, home improvement, health and wellness, home care to name a few,” said Marcia Burkhardt, the chamber’s sales and marketing coordinator. “We also have a specific section designated solely for home based businesses such as Scentsy, Advantage Health and several vendors from our Fairfield Farmer’s Market.”

The event also will be a Kid’s Zone with games and an inflatable obstacle course, live Drone Zone from Butler Tech, medical screening by Mercy Health-Fairfield Hospital.
Live musical performances will take place in the the school auditorium featuring Rhythm Express (noon), FortissiBROS (12:30 p.m.), Pure Elegance (1 p.m.) and Choraliers (1:30 p.m.)
Also featured will be door prizes and giveaways, plus a chance to win tickets to Dwight Yoakam's June 20 performance at Riverbend as part of a tour featuring Yoakam, Lucinda Williams and Steve Earle & The Dukes.

Community Spring Fest, which is free and open to the public, will take place rain or shine. The only attractions outside the school will Best Thing Smokin’ Food Truck and a Fairfield Fire Department fire engine.
Burkhardt said the event is part of a chamber effort to add events that help connect the community and its businesses with chamber members.
The new school provided “an ideal location” for the event, she said.
“It has everything we need and tied in perfectly with the musical talent we wanted to showcase,” Burkhardt said. “The Freshman school is a beautiful venue and this is a great opportunity to showcase the building, as well.”
