Celebrate Local sells products and services made by small business vendors. It mainly sells only Ohio-made art, apparel, wine, beer, food and more. But it accepted vendor applications from throughout the Tristate for the new Cincinnati-area store opening, company officials previously said.
At the local store this weekend, Nov. 6-8, Celebrate Local will raffle off Ohio gift baskets. Representatives from Ohio Proud, a division of the Ohio Department of Agriculture, and the Butler County Visitors Bureau will also be onsite for giveaways, according to Celebrate Local.
Also, Celebrate Local will offer vendor demonstrations and samples including items from 2 Cups Coffee and Bakery, A Bit of a Bite Salsa, Raphael’s Pizzelles, Bissell Maple Farm, Perfect Pecans, Tina’s Sweet Treats, Norka Soda and Twisted River Coffee.
Cincinnati artist Tiffany Kelly aka “Chalk N Awe” will be creating custom chalk art on the store’s sidewalk for the opening, local authors will offer in-store book signings, and area artisans will be onsite working on their crafts, according to the company.
“It’ll just be a really fun, festive event,” Hein Bellamy said. “(Customers) love the fact that it’s local, they’re stimulating their own economy.”
