The Board of Education of Hamilton City School District is accepting applications for an appointment to the Lane Public Library Board of Trustees.

The Board of Library Trustees consists of seven members. Terms are for seven years, and one member’s term expires each year. An appointment will be made for a regular term of office beginning Jan. 1, 2018.

A majority of trustees shall be qualified electors of Hamilton City School District, but a minority may be qualified electors of Butler County who reside outside the school district.

Members serve without compensation.
