Jungle Jim’s combining 4 food festivals into one summer event

Jungle Jim’s International Market is consolidating four popular festivals into one giant party that will give guests a sample of more than 200 different products from around the store.

The new Jungle Jim’s Backyard Bash will combine the Buckeye Beer Bash, BBQ & Grilling Festival, Bacon & Cheese Festival and Taste of the Sea festivals into one event from 1 to 6 p.m. July 28, according to the Fairfield international grocer.

Buckeye Beer Bash, Bacon & Cheese, and Taste of the Sea had been around for two years each and the BBQ & Grilling Festival debuted last year, spokesman Zachary Cobb told the Journal-News.

“To pump up the flavors and the fun we decided to join them together to make one giant summer extravaganza,” Cobb said.

Admission to the new event includes unlimited food samples. VIP ticket purchases will include access to a craft beer garden and a commemorative pint glass, five sample tickets and five pint tickets. Additional drink tickets will be available for purchase. Prices start at $6 for an individual ticket and range up to $30 for a VIP ticket.
