2 indicted for alleged drug planting at Butler County Jail, including man seen wearing Batman hat and shirt

A Hamilton man who was wearing a Batman hat and shirt when he allegedly planted prescription drugs at the Butler County Jail has been indicted by a grand jury.

William Tackett, 45, was indicted for illegal conveyance of weapons or prohibited items onto grounds of specified governmental facility, a third-degree felony. He was arrested April 18 after he was seen on surveillance video allegedly planting the drugs.

Tackett was being held in the Butler County Jail under a $20,066 bond, but jail records show he is no longer there.

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones said the drugs were being placed there for inmate Anessa Henson, 38, who was in jail on a capias warrant. She was also indicted on the same charge. She is no longer in the jail.
