The Butler County Board of Elections acknowledged the role of poll workers in the democratic process with an appreciation breakfast for the more than 1,200 precinct election officials who worked the polls in 2016. Approximately 300 poll workers attended the event, held at the Butler County Fairgrounds.

“We have wonderful poll workers in Butler County and we wanted to let them know how much we appreciate their hard work election after election,” said Diane Noonan, Director of the Board of Elections.

The breakfast included remarks from Butler County Commissioner T.C. Rogers, Hamilton Mayor Pat Moeller, and Board of Elections Chairman Frank Cloud. Secretary of State Jon Husted delivered remarks in a pre-recorded message.
