UPDATE: Missing 76-year-old Fairfield woman found safe

A 76-year-old Fairfield woman reported missing was found safe Thursday night, police said.

Law enforcement was concerned because Patricia Gray, who suffers from dementia, drove away from her home at 2:30 p.m. and had not returned.

The endangered missing adult alert that was canceled around 11:20 p.m. was issued shortly before 6 p.m.
