Hamilton residents can get $50 for recycling old appliances

Hamilton Utilities residential electric customers can receive $50 for recycling an outdated, working refrigerator or freezer through Efficiency Smart.

Eligible customers can schedule a free-pick up of their working refrigerator or freezer by calling 844-260-3487, or by visiting www.efficiencysmart.org/hamilton-ohio.

After the refrigerator or freezer has been properly recycled, customers will receive $50, according to the city.
