Hamilton’s first Restaurant Week launches today at 11 locations

A new event this week looks to help Hamilton restaurants still reeling from a now seven-week shutdown of dine-in service during the coronavirus pandemic.

The inaugural Hamilton Restaurant Week runs from today through and including Friday at 11 of the city’s eateries: Alexander’s Market & Deli, All8Up, The Casual Pint, The Drink Tavern, Fretboard Brewing & Public House, Gina’s Italian Kitchen & Tavern, Hyde’s Restaurant, Lounge 24, Neal’s Famouns BBQ, Roll On In, Tano Bistro.

For the event, each restaurant is offering three courses for one price, all of it for carry out, according to the Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, which organized the event along with the city of Hamilton.

Prices range from $8 to $30. Some of the menu’s even offer an optional cocktail, wine or beer pairing,

The chamber said the event is an opportunity to “support our local businesses and get something great to eat at the same time.”
