A 12-year-old Franklin girl riding her bicycle was injured after being struck by a pickup truck Wednesday evening.
Franklin police said the accident occurred at about 6:48 p.m. at the intersection of East Second and South Main streets.
The girl was crossing Second Street when she was struck by a 2002 Chevy Avalanche turning left from South Main Street, according to the police report.
The girl was taken by ambulance to the Kettering Emergency Center-Franklin, where she was treated for minor injuries.
Police determined the girl was at fault for the accident, saying she was improperly crossing the street.
