Franklin firefighters report that an exterior trash can caught fire in the 200 block of Hemlock Street Thursday morning.

Firefighters were called to the scene at 11:57 a.m, per initial reports.

No damage to the structure was reported, according to Fire Chief Jonathan Westendorf.
