The dog park at Schafer’s Run Park is temporarily closed for renovations.

Land in the dog park area is being turned and moved onto drier land, according to the township.

In addition, new fencing will be installed and the park at 6485 Vonnie Vale Court will be separated for small dogs versus larger dogs, according to the city.

A concrete pad in the shape of a dog bone will hold commemorative bricks for pet owners and new benches and amenities will enhance the entire dog park, according to the city.
